Kitchener Market
Kitchener Market, one of Canada's oldest continuously
operating farmers' markets with over 150 years of history, thrives in downtown
Kitchener as a vibrant hub for fresh, local goods and global flavors. Every
Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., around 80 vendors on the lower level offer
seasonal produce like asparagus and potatoes, meats, dairy, eggs, cheese, baked
goods, honey, flowers, fish, craft beer, cider, and specialty items, often
accompanied by live music and family events. The upper level Food Hall, open
Tuesday to Saturday, features diverse prepared foods from vendors like A Taste
of Seoul with Korean-Japanese dishes, Al Madina Egyptian Cuisine's hummus and
baklava, Bolero Pizza's thin-crust pizzas, KW Empanadas' handmade fillings, and
Ola Brazil's street eats including pastels and acai, alongside sweets from
Twisted Schweets and boba from Tastea Boba.
